Summit Products Premier Armor is our most popular stainless package.  Custom made at six inches height, the 18 gauge mirror polished stainless steel is used to make our panels.  Of course, since virtually every coach that we do is “custom”, we can make the stainless to any height or design that you would like.  Is 9-3/8” more to your liking?  No problem.  We can do that too.

Like our Ultimate Armor, the Premier Armor panels are held in place using a 3M automotive grade double sided tape while a marine grade adhesive cures.  The bonded panels are guaranteed for the life of the coach to not fall off.  It is the one-two punch that makes all the difference and only Summit does it.

Beware of cheap imitations.  We hate to say it, but yes, there are cheap imitations out there that leave a lot to be desired.  Some of them are so bad, that the coach owners commissioned us to replace the existing stainless with the stainless from Summit Products.  Why?  There are several reasons.

Often times, the installer will try to fit a generic profile to the coach.

For example, the two photos above are of the same coach.  As you can see in the photo on the left, the stainless profile has about a 2 inch gap at the bottom. Remarkably, this is after the customer worked to try to make it better himself. When we were done, the new armor fit perfectly, as it should.  And yes, we made the stainless grill as well.  Looks nice, doesn't it?

Another problem that we see is that some companies do not take the time to do the job properly.  The photo left shows how one company tackled a difficult area.
The job was so bad that the parts were literally falling off before we even arrived.  Did I mention that the first company charged more to do the installation than Summit Products charged to remove and replace this job?

The photo right shows the same coach after we were done.

Clean, professional work!
