Spacers Spacers are typically clear acrylic 1" diameter cylinders connected to the shield only. With a rubber bumper at one end touching the coach, spacers help to keep the shield a proper distance from the coach by mounting to the Body Block shield. The hardware used to attach the spacer to the shield is:
A) 1.0 Inch long flat head socket cap screw with ¼-20 threads
B) Ultra Washer, stainless steel, 1” outer diameter
C) Rubber grommet, 2 sizes available
C.1 Small, this is the standard size designed for a ½” diameter hole in the Body Block shield
C.2 Large, this is the non-standard size designed for a ¾” diameter hole in the Body Block shield
Standoffs Standoffs are typically solid 1" diameter aluminum cylinders used to hold and support the shield to the coach. These standoffs come in 1/4" increments starting at 1.00" in length and have an anodized finish for longevity. In addition, some can be purchased with an angled end for better fit between the coach and the shield. The hardware used to attach the standoff to the shield AND the coach is:
D) 1.0 Inch long flat head socket cap screw (FHSCS) with ¼-20 threads
E) Ultra Washer, stainless steel, 1” outer diameter
F) Rubber grommet, 2 sizes available
F.1Small, this is the standard size designed for a ½” diameter hole in the Body Block shield
F.2Large, this is the non-standard size designed for a ¾” diameter hole in the Body Block shield
G) Standoff Body, aluminum 1” outer diameter x length
H) Stud, ¼-20 x 1.50” long, stainless steel
I) Wellnut, ¼-20 thread x ½” diameter
In some applications, Quick Release pins can be used to replace the flat head socket cap screw (FHSCS) and Ultra Washer. These Summit Products designed pins release the shield from the coach with a simple push of the thumb much like releasing a socket from a wrench.

Hinges Hinges are provided for some coach models for the purpose of making it easier to clean behind the shield and to access the generator. Many styles are available, so please contact us for more information.
Trim Shield trim describes the stainless accents found along the outer edges of the shield. This trim comes in two styles.
